From the Good Seats

As many of you saw, part of our ceremony included Kevin's sister Susie giving us camera so that we could take a few photos from the stage to remember what it was like up there on this wonderful day!! Here are a few of them pieced together in a panorama!! It was such a wonderful day! Thank you so much to all of our friends and family who helped and participated. Everything was just wonderful. Check out the photo below and other people's photos of our wedding at our Flickr group: http://flickr.com/groups/merryfoxes/pool/ (also add any photos that you took at the wedding to this pool! We can't wait to see them!)

Staying in Carmel?

So we know that many of you are staying in Carmel or are planning to stay in Carmel for the weekend of our wedding. If you already received an email from us this week about hotels, then we already know you fit into this category. However, if you haven't gotten an email and are planning to stay locally Friday and/or Saturday nights, please drop us an email at us (at) merryfoxes.com and let us know when and where you will be staying. We would like to make sure that we get welcome information to you all!

We are getting very excited and are looking forward to celebrating with all of you very soon!!

Who is Ready to Party!?!

Hey everyone!!! Tomorrow is the 21st. If you haven't already, don't forget to get your RSVP cards in!! There are a lot of RSVPs that we have not received, don't make us track you down! ;)

Its getting so close!! We got our marriage license today and We are both so so excited! We can't wait for you all to join us!

Weather & Planning

As we are all planning ahead the big question is always the weather. What will it be? The Carmel locals tell us that there is rarely ever rain in September there, which is generally true this general area in California (even if we really would like some rain). As for temperatures, Kevin has set up this Wedding Weather Website on the Weather Channel.

Typical Weather for September 13
Here are average weather conditions for the day of your wedding:
Average High Temp:72F Record High Temp:94F (1971)
Average Low Temp: 53F Record Low Temp: 48F (1954)

The website also shows the weather in Carmel Valley on September 13th over the last three years, I think that the average temps will be close to what we will experience as well.

We think it will be a beautiful day and we are so looking forward to seeing you all there.

Only 32 days to go!

Details & Travel Updates

So we have updated the website a little bit more. We have added the tentative time of the wedding and reception to the details page (that would be 2pm - 9pm) and we have also added some additional hotel and airport transit information to the Travel page (for the California Wedding).

September is high season in Carmel so getting your hotel early is good. We have done our best to find reasonable prices. We have listed some hotels in Carmel on the Travel page Less expensive rooms may also be available in Monterey (only 10 minutes).

Family & Wedding Party - if you have spoken with us about hotel rooms and you aren't sure if you have one yet. Please ask us. We'd love to help. Believe me we have charts with all kinds of those details!

Chances Are Good...

5 years ago today I picked him up at the airport meeting him for the first time in person. At the time I wasn't sure it was the smartest thing to do but now I'm thankful I went with my gut!

8 months and 2 days from today I will be marrying him!

In Our Words - We Have a Blog!!!

Hi Everyone! We finally have a blog up on our site so we can post thoughts and updates about the wedding. Maybe we will even get photos on here at some point.

Tomorrow we are going to meet with the cake designer. Knowing us, some kind of crazy confection will come out of the visit.

We will of course keep you all posted!
